Ask the utility this, before you sell it

Clay’s documents disagree on the pre approval threshold, 20 kW in the agreement and on the website against 50 kW on the application form. Which governs?
How does Clay compute the gross power rating used in the 90 percent test, from the AC rating in the agreement or the DC rating the application asks for?
What is the service entrance rating and transformer kVA at this address? The system must stay under 90 percent of both.
If a battery is included, confirm the non export requirement and whether an automatic transfer switch or a specific inverter is expected.

Worth knowing before you quote

Clay bars battery export outright: storage integrated with a renewable system is for the customer’s use and must not export, an automatic transfer switch or special inverter is required, a permanent label reading "Battery storage utilized in this facility" must be fixed at the meter enclosure, and standalone storage without generation may not interconnect at all. A trip fee applies for the net meter set. Clay does not publish an aggregate program cap; its 2021 report to the Commission showed 1,744 interconnections totaling about 14,260 kW.
